Cultural Club - Profile

CSSR & SRRM Degree and PG College, serves as the vibrant heart of the campus, nurturing creativity, heritage, and harmony among students. Rooted in the rich traditions of rural India, the club strives to promote the cultural ethos of the region while offering a platform for students to express their artistic talents and foster unity in diversity. It bridges academic excellence with cultural expression, nurturing well-rounded individuals rooted in tradition and ready for global citizenship. The club also enhances the sociolect-cultural vibrancy of the college, making it a hub of artistic celebration and community pride.

Objectives:

· To preserve and promote Indian art, culture, and traditions among the youth.

· To provide students with opportunities to showcase their talents in music, dance, drama, literature, and fine arts.

· To build confidence, communication, and leadership through cultural participation.

· To blend rural cultural heritage with modern expressions through inclusive events.

· To encourage cross-cultural appreciation and unity on campus.

Activities & Initiatives:

· Annual Cultural Fest – Samskruthi Sambaralu: A grand celebration featuring classical and folk performances, modern arts, and competitions.

· Traditional Days & Ethnic Celebrations: Observing festivals like Sankranti, Ugadi, Holi, and Independence Day with student participation in folk songs, Rangoli, dances, and skits.

Talent Hunts: Regular competitions in singing, dancing, elocution, essay writing, mehendi, painting, cooking and poetry
