The NCC Unit of the college plays a pivotal role in shaping disciplined, responsible, and patriotic youth in our rural community. Operating under the National Cadet Corps, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, our NCC unit offers students a unique blend of military training, leadership development, and nation-building spirit. Through parades, camps, social service, and adventure activities, the unit instils values of discipline, confidence, physical fitness, and service. The NCC also serves as a platform for rural students to access opportunities in defence services, civil society leadership, and national-level youth programs.
Objectives:
· To develop character, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, and spirit of adventure.
· To promote selfless service and national integration.
· To provide military training and prepare youth for future defence and civil services.
· To inspire rural youth towards responsible citizenship and social contribution.
Regular Activities:
· Weekly Parades & Drill Practice: Training in foot drill, map reading, weapon handling, and command structure.
· Social Service Campaigns: Blood donation drives, tree plantation, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, and awareness rallies.
· Flag Hoisting & Ceremonial Events: Active role in Republic Day, Independence Day, and other national celebrations on campus.
Special Achievements:
· Cadets have represented the college in state-level camps, National Integration Camps (NICs), & Trekking Camps.
· Several cadets have successfully cleared the NCC ‘B’ and ‘C’ Certificate Examinations.
· Alumni have joined armed forces, police services, and public sector jobs with credit to their NCC training.
