The Department of English at CSSR & SRRM Degree and PG College (Autonomous), Kamalapuram, was established in 1992 with the objective of strengthening language and communication skills among students. English is offered as a compulsory language course for all undergraduate programmes, including B.A., B.Com., and B.Sc. The department focuses on developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and analytical abilities through an effective curriculum and continuous internal assessment. Qualified faculty members guide students through modern teaching methods, seminars, and assignments. The department also encourages participation in literary activities, communication skill programmes, and academic events, helping students improve their language proficiency and prepare for higher education and professional careers.
